Socialism vs Communism

Day 1 

Arrival to Budapest. Check in Hotel and rest.

Visit to the Citadella with photo stops and proceed to the city for dinner and Night cruise on the Danube.

Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Hungary and its Capital Budapest, called also the beauty on the Danube, one of the most enchanting cities of Europe. Upon arrival Panoramic tour of the city; Citadella, Andrassy Avenue, Heroes Square. City Tour of Budim and Pest side. Free time to explore the city.

Folklore night out in one of famous Hungarian Csarda. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 3 

Breakfast. Free day to explore the city; shopping, famous spas, Budim dungeons etc.

We recommend on this day visit to Godollo with its famous Castle and horse show.

Visit to the famous Park of Communist Statues. Learn about art in that dark period of Hungarian History.

Dinner in the city and Folklore Hungarian Ballet Performance. Overnight.

Day 4 

Breakfast at Hotel. Drive to Serbia. Driving the whole day and crossing the border from Hungary to Serbia. Proceed to Belgrade. City Tour and visit to the resting place of the head of Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia, the very mastermind of the system; House of flowers. Free time to rest before heading out for dinner and night with gypsies. Overnight.

Day 5 

Breakfast. Check out and departure for Sarajevo. We will be crossing the border from Serbia to Bosnia and travel enjoying beautiful sceneries of mainland Bosnia. Arrival to Sarajevo and checking into our  Hotel ETN 4* central or similar. Typical Bosnian dinner and first encounter with Bosnian Capital. Overnight.

Day 6 

Breakfast. Day to explore Bosnian Capital, Enjoy the City, Ottoman legacy, coffee, shopping, nargilas and much much more.

Panoramic Tour of the City in details reveils how this city was built during the Socialism and the legacy still lives in spite of heavy destruction of the last civil war. Evening we will enjoy Bosnian Folklore night with dinner.

Day 7 

Proceed to Mostar. Visit to Mostar, famous UNESCO site

with the local guide follow by coffee tasting and lunch. Free time and then continue to Split

Check in Hotel Split.

Day 8 

Welcome to the sea! Free day to enjoy the beach, sun and having time completely off. Optional boat trip visiting the Island of Brač and City of Bol famous for the most beautiful beach of Croatia, the surfing paradise; the Golden horn. Dinner in the hotel. Overnight

Day 9 

Breakfast. Today we explore Dubrovnik. Time to explore the famous Dubrovnik or Kings Landing. City Tour will be a combination of Classical Tour and Game of Thrones tour, Free time and Boat Panoramic Tour in the afternoon before heading back to the hotel in Neum. Farewell dinner with folklore performance and overnight.

Day 10 

Breakfast at the hotel. Driving to Albania stopping in Montenegro, City of Budva.

Free time for lunch. Arrival to Tirana in the evening.

Day 11

Day to explore another Communist system, the most closed and isolated country of Europe, Albania. Enver Halil Hoxha was a tyrant and yet he still has his respected place in the history of the country. City Tour will include visit to the City Museum.

In the afternoon we will explore the famous BLOKU, borough which was built exclusively for highely ranked members of the Communist Part, and of course Hoxha himself.

Evening to rest. 

Day 12

Drive to Dubrovnik. End of services.
