Blending the cultures
During this 2-week tour, our guides will be showing you around some of the most beautiful European cities as well as both their iconic and "off the beaten path" sites.
Each city has its own unique history and landmarks to offer you and you are guaranteed to come home afterwards yearning to learn and see more!
Day 1-3: DUBROVNIK
Get your trip started right in the beautiful city of Dubrovnik. View the beautiful locations used in popular culture for their famously picturesque cityscape.
Day 4-5: SPLIT
It’s time to explore Split – we’ll visit its most iconic sights. Later you’ll have some free time to check out the Dalmatian taverns in the city centre and in the afternoon – a half-day trip to Klis, a medieval stronghold featured in ‘Game of Thrones’, and the cradle of Croatian horsemanship
Day 6-7: ZAGREB
Move on to Zagreb, the largest city in Croatia. Explore the historic district with its medieval influences. Visit the open air markets to stock up on souvenirs and taste some of the wonderful cuisine that Croatia has to offer!
Day 8-9: BUDAPEST
Leaving Croatia, you'll move on to Hungary, and everything Budapest has to offer. Visit local museums, go shopping and sample the local cuisine. Even an optional night cruise on on the Danube River!
Day 10: KOŠICE
Kosice was voted the European Capital of Culture in 2013! See why by attending a performance at the Kosice state theatre. You will also visit the St. Elisabeth Cathedral, one of the easternmost gothic cathedrals in Europe.
Day 11-12: UZGHOROD
Uzhgorod is a town in Ukraine that is near the borders of Slovakia and Hungary. Experience the melding of cultures at this European crossroad. See the ancient Citadel - one of the best preserved fortifications in Ukraine and sample the delightful food and wine that results from this culturally diverse region.
Day 13: TRUSKAVETS
Visit Truskavets and bathe in the mineral springs that this resort town is known for. The city is absolutely beautiful with its green parks and nearby lake. You may also sample the 'Naftusia' - mineral water renowned for its supposed healing properties.
Day 14-15: LVIV
Wrap up your trip in Lviv - the 'Paris of Ukraine'. Sample the delicious coffee and chocolate that Lviv is famous for and visit the beautiful Lviv Opera house. Finish things off with a final zabava to reminisce about all of the wonderful memories you've just created!
